Purpose/Aim: The book "India after the global crisis" written by Mr. Shankar Acharya, presents an honest interpretation of India's stability against the global financial crisis. This book throws light on the effects that global crisis have on India and also how domestic policy failures affected the entire nation. In India, growth slowed down quite significatly, inflation remained high, external current account deficit increased and the rate of domestic investement came down.
